Crown Commercial Service are a central purchasing body that procures common Goods and services for Buyers including central Government departments and the wider public sector.
Opportunity Overview
Crown Commercial Service (CCS) intends to put in place a Pan Government Collaborative Agreement for the provision of postal services and solutions to be utilised by Central Government Departments and all other UK Public Sector Bodies, including Local Authorities, Health, Police, Fire and Rescue, Education and Devolved Administrations. It is intended that this commercial agreement will be the recommended vehicle for all postal services and solutions required by UK Central Government.
This opportunity is for the provision of a multi–Supplier Framework Contract which will consist of eight (8) Lots to cover various requirements for Postal Goods and Services to meet the current and future needs of the public sector.
Lot 1 – Franking Machines. Mailroom Equipment
The Supplier shall provide a wide range of requirements for franking machines, mailroom equipment, furniture, accessories, consumables and software, supporting maintenance services and service wraps pertaining to the operation of the Equipment and ensuring it is kept in good working order.
Lot 2 – Collection and Delivery of Letters, Large Letters
The Supplier shall deliver a range of Services that fulfil the requirements of the Buyer and fall within the scope of a collection and delivery service from Buyer Site(s). This may include but not be limited to Buyer Premises and nominated third party premises.
Lot 3 – Collection and Delivery of Letters, Large Letters and Parcels to International Destinations
The Supplier shall provide a cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money, collection and delivery Service, for letters, large letters and parcels which are collected from Buyer Site(s) for onward delivery to international destinations.
Lot 4 – Audits, Efficiency Reviews and Niche Consultancy
The Supplier shall provide cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money, independent mailroom and production audits, efficiency reviews and niche consultancy services specific to mailroom operations and associated document and data management.
Lot 5 – Business Process Outsourcing, Mailroom, Document and Data Managed Service
The Supplier shall provide a cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money service capable of fulfilling a broad range of Buyer requirements. The Supplier shall provide a fully outsourced managed service including on/ off site mailroom management, digital mailroom management and document and data management services.
Lot 6 – Hybrid Mail, Digital and Transformational Communications
The Supplier shall provide a cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money Hybrid Mail, Digital and Transformational Communication Services and solutions capable of fulfilling the broad range of Buyer requirements that can be delivered at either the Buyer Premises (on-site) or at the Supplier’s premises (off-site) or a blend of both as defined by the Buyer during the Call-off Procedure.
Lot 7 – Inbound Delivery, Mail Opening and Digital Scanning Services
The Supplier shall provide a cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money Service for capable of fulfilling a broad range of Buyer requirements for inbound delivery Services for mail items, packets and parcels being returned to Buyer Premises and/or nominated third party premises from the Buyer’s end users/ customers.
Lot 8 – Security Screening Services
The Supplier shall provide a cost effective, flexible, high quality and value for money security screening service, with onward delivery of mail items to the Buyers nominated sites.
